Section 16
Use Of Vehicles
(1) No political party or candidate or his or her agent or any other person shall, in the course of election canvassing, use, or cause to be used,
vehicles exceeding the number as permitted by the Commission.
(2) No political party or candidate or his or her agent or any other person shall, in the course of election canvassing, use or cause to be used any vehicles
belonging to the government or organizations owned by the government or the local body.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Section, any political party or candidate or his or her agent or observer related to the act of
election, human right activist, journalist or similar other person may use a vehicle on the election day only if the Commission so permits.
